O'Neal rates the strongest five-man group in NBA history

Different people have different opinions on the NBA's best lineup. One popular choice includes Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Shaquille O'Neal, and Magic Johnson. However, O'Neal himself shared his ideal lineup, which consisted of Johnson, Jordan, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, and Hakeem Olajuwon.

In O'Neal's lineup, he didn't choose himself at center, instead opting for Olajuwon, whom he believed was superior. Some questioned Barkley's height for a power forward, but O'Neal argued that his aggression, rebounding, offense, and competitiveness made him a suitable choice.

O'Neal recognized Magic and Jordan as the best in their positions and chose Olajuwon as center because of his technical prowess. For small forward, O'Neal selected Bird over James due to Bird's versatile scoring skills.

Many fans agree that O'Neal's lineup is flawless, with strong scoring and defense. Jordan, Olajuwon, and Magic had all won Defensive Player of the Year, and Magic's height gave him an advantage as point guard.
