Richer than who? Jordan: James, Ronaldo and Messi, together?

Michael Jordan, the former NBA superstar, has been named the top-earning athlete by Forbes with a net worth of $2.1 billion, surpassing LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi combined.

Despite his relatively low player salaries (only $93.29 million in 15 seasons), Jordan's main source of income comes from sponsorships and his ownership of the Charlotte Hornets.

Jordan signed a groundbreaking endorsement deal with Nike worth $2.5 million over five years, paving the way for the Air Jordan brand. His stake in the Hornets, which he bought for $175 million and is now valued at $1.5 billion, also adds to his wealth.

Jordan's impact on the sports world extends far beyond basketball, making him a true legend in both popularity and financial success.
