NBA's unique bonus terms

Brown earned a $1.5 million bonus in his contract if the Celtics reach the NBA Finals. This would push them over the luxury tax threshold. Capela's contract with the Rockets included bonus incentives tied to his rebounding and free throw shooting. Unfortunately, he missed out on a $500,000 bonus by falling just short of the required free throw percentage.

Diaw, known for his unique playing style, had a weight clause in his contract with the Spurs. If he managed to stay within a specified weight range, he would receive a $500,000 bonus.

Gobert, on the other hand, has several bonus clauses in his $205 million contract with the Jazz, including earning $1 million if he is selected as an All-Star.
